THE STA NEXT_GEN STORY

We’ve abandoned the term “millennials” and adopted the term “Next Gen”, simply because we are that- The Next Generation.

The Next Gen is a group of young ambitious people. The Next Gen is passionate about making a mark in other people's lives and society. The Next Gen is loud, driven and most definitely courageous. 

They have so much to offer the world; like Vuyo, the Next Genner’s are BIG dreamers. However, there are many challenges that they are faced with. Be it black tax, unemployment, being a junior at work, #FMF or grappling with racism and classism at school or work.

At STA we understand that the traditional way of dealing with challenges is treating them like problems that can be broken down into their key parts and solved. The problem with with using this approach is that it often worsens the situation.  

We believe in investing, unearthing and showcasing the greatness of the Next Gen. 

We work with The Next Gen by using systems thinking approaches which focus on strengths rather than weaknesses. 

Systems thinking for us then becomes not a methodology  but a way of seeing wholeness in people and society. Our approach includes getting involved in the world of The Next Gen and together co-creating the futures  that they would like to have. We provide tools and frameworks from the world of systems thinking to assist The Next Gen make sense of the world around them.
